Wendy Wu Tours has unveiled the cruise-and-tour programme for its first new-build ship.
The $10 million Victoria Mekong ship, which is slated to launch in December, will sail from Can Tho Pier, Vietnam, to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Passengers can choose from four group tours and two private tours on the 35-cabin ship, which will be sold through third-party operators as well as Wendy Wu Tours.
The two private tours – the 12-day Mekong Impressions, from £3,190 per person, and the 19-day Mekong Discovery, from £4,190 per person – are bespoke and organised by the operator on an individual basis.
The new group tours include the 14-day A Mekong Experience, from £3,190 per person; and the 17-day Classic Mekong from £3,690 per person.
Two longer group tours have also been added: the 22-day Mekong Explorer tour, from £4,190 per person, and 23-day Inspiring Indochina tour, from £4,490 per person, both of which include a rickshaw tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and a night at Cambodia’s famous Phare Circus.
John Warr, Wendy Wu Tours global sales director, said: “The Victoria Mekong is a very exciting addition to our portfolio, filling what is a huge gap in the market.
“The ship has all the deluxe facilities of a 5-star standard ship with the price of a 4-star cruise offering the utmost in comfort for customers.
“We’re seeing interest from a number of trade partners looking to take an allocation on Victoria Mekong.”
