Holidaysplease had one of its best sales months on record this March despite uncertainty around Brexit.
The homeworking group said sales revenue was up 32% compared to the same period last year with average sales bookings at just over £5,500 – a rise of 28% year on year.
The company also reported a 31% increase in repeat business in March.
Richard Dixon, co-founder of Holidaysplease, said there are a number of reasons behind the growth.
“We’re seeing a lot of the work we’ve done already is coming together,” he said.
“We’ve been working hard on skills in leadership teams to make the homeworkers more productive. We also have people in our production team developing holidays to sell so we have the right products in place. We have bigger social media engagement to communicate with our customer and to promote our rewards programme.”
March 2019 was the third best-ever month recorded beaten only by January peaks this year and last year.
Dixon said: “Throughout the Brexit process we’ve focused on what we can influence and what we can control and always maintain the vision that customers want to book holidays with you.”
