Plans for the future of super-consortium Triton Travel Group will soon be revealed.
Chairman Steven Freud-mann said a board meeting had been held last week and an announcement would be made on February 26.
The group, which consists of Global Travel Group and TTA Worldchoice, was set up in 2005 to help negotiate special deals with suppliers.
However, at its last conference in 2008, it revealed it would no longer operate as a joint buying group. This led some agents to question the value of the super consortium.
Since Advantage quit the group in September 2008, Triton is believed to have been in talks with potential new partners to join the consortium but no new members have been confirmed.
