The Association of Cruise Experts (ACE) and Travel Weekly are teaming up to hold a competition for five lucky agents to win a free place at the 2010 UK Cruise Convention.
The winners will each be assigned to one of the five ships in port during the convention, and will report on their experiences for Travel Weekly.
They will also contribute to Travel Weekly’s multimedia coverage of the convention, business sessions and spectacular social events.
The event is in Southampton from June 24-26, and includes visits from:
- Celebrity Eclipse
- Norwegian Cruise Line’s Epic (pictured)
- P&O Cruises’ Azura
- Cunard’s Queen Mary 2
Crown Princess will be in port for a pre-convention visit on June 23.
ACE director Flo Powell said the competition would give the agents unrivalled access to the biggest convention to date, as they describe their experiences for other delegates and agents who weren’t lucky enough to attend.
“The 2010 ACE UK Cruise Convention will be the most exciting and informative to date, and will also provide help and advice to travel agents on how to take advantage of the continued, growing interest in cruise holidays,” she said.
The winners will each receive a free place at the convention, but the prize does not include travel or accommodation.
