Olympic Holidays unveils first year-round brochure

Olympic Holidays has unveiled its first year-round brochure to capitalise on growth in destinations that offer winter-sun breaks.

Called All Year Sun, the magazine-style brochure also offers an increased range of island-hopping breaks, four and five-star options, and family holidays.

Destinations include summer-sun options such as Greece, Sicily and Turkey, as well as those offering sunshine all year, such as the Gambia, Goa, Cyprus, Canary Islands, Madeira and Malta.

To mark the first All Year Sun brochure, Olympic Holidays has produced one hardback cover version which will be randomly placed in distribution packs which are being delivered to agents.

The agent who finds this special edition will win a seven-night winter-sun holiday of their choice from the brochure, for two people.

Ricky Wason, head of product and purchasing, commented: “Summer Sun is Olympic’s core business but with winter bookings on the rise, destinations such as the Gambia and Goa are fast becoming a significant part of our business.

“The product featured in this brochure reflects the brand’s journey towards a more refined and tailored offering. As well as keeping a much-loved selection of two-star and three-star family-run accommodation which offers charm, authentic experiences and local hospitality, this brochure also showcases a large selection of high-end luxury four and five-star properties.

“There is also a real emphasis on all-inclusive, family resorts, many of which feature the outstanding Worldwide Kids Clubs. Our buying team have also secured some of the best family and interconnecting rooms at some of the top hotels.”

The new brochure sees year-round options in the Gambia for the first time, as well as winter-sun options in Madeira, Canary Islands and Malta.

New for 2019 in Greece are the islands of Spetses, Poros and Andros plus the Athenian Riviera.

In Cyprus, the operator has introduced holidays at a mountain spa resort called Casale Panayiotis. A seven-night holiday costs from £788 per person, based on two adults sharing, including flights in October 2019, and bed-and-breakfast accommodation.

New in south Goa is Club Mahindra Emerald Palms, a Portuguese villa with a spa. A seven-night holiday costs from £806, based on two adults sharing, including flights in November 2019, and all-inclusive accommodation.

A new property in the Gambia is Palma Rima Hotel, Gambia, where a seven-night holiday costs from £565 based on two adults sharing, including flights in November 2019 and bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
