Just You, the singles escorted tour specialist arm of Page & Moy, is increasing commission levels for late bookings.
In a move that head of retail sales Colin Wilson described as a first for the sector, agents will be able to make additional revenue in the lates market.
He explained: “Our trips have a minimum number necessary to go ahead but once we reach that number every additional passenger is more profitable for us.
“We will alert travel agents to departures that have been guaranteed, so they know which ones extra commission can be earned on.”
The operator will have clocked up a year of working with the trade in June and to celebrate it is giving away a £15 iTunes voucher for every booking made this year.
As part of the celebrations the company will pay for one agent’s birthday party at Pizza Express. The winner will be drawn from all bookings made between now and June 30.
Wilson also revealed that the Just You preview brochure for 2010/11 was out and expressed his gratitude for the way agents have embraced the brand.
He added: “Every month sales are growing through the trade as the relationship gets stronger and awareness of the brand grows.”
Earlier this week it was announced that Just You’s parent company would be rebranded from Kaleidoscope Travel Group to Page & Moy Travel Group.
Wilson said he hoped this would help to improve awareness of Just You.
“As soon as agents realise Just You is part of Page & Moy the uptake increases because they automatically trust it more so it makes sense to align the brands under the strong Page & Moy brand,” he added.
