Agents are being invited to take part in the first comprehensive survey of the trade’s favourite touring and adventure brands, with the results to be published in December.
Travel Weekly has launched Touring & Adventure: The Hotlist, an agent-voted survey of the best touring brands in categories including active and adventure travel, 18-30s, over-55s, luxury and value for money, as well as regional categories.
Voting was launched at the Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers (Atas) Conference in Manchester last week, where 350 delegates attended networking events, business sessions, an interactive trade fair and the annual Atas Awards.
The survey is being run in association with Mail Metro Media, which will ask readers to vote in five consumer categories, and host an event revealing the winners. The results will also be released in a special edition of Travel Weekly’s Touring & Adventure publication in December.
Travel Weekly editor-in-chief, Lucy Huxley, said: “We’re really excited to unveil the first in our series of Hotlist reader surveys, asking the agents who book tours day-in day-out to tell us which brands have impressed them most.
“Anyone familiar with our Cool Cruises or Perfect Places surveys will know how valued these results are to the trade – not only do they act as a barometer of which brands are selling well, but they are a great resource for agents looking to grow their knowledge of this expanding sector.”
Agents who complete the survey before October 18 will be entered into a prize draw to win a Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker worth £199, a Google Nest Hub or one of three £50 Love2shop vouchers.
