Suntransfers.com has appointed Avis Budget Group’s Keith Vipan as global supply director.
The European ground transportation firm announced its plans to enter the B2B market earlier this year when it appointed Holiday Taxis’ Andy Baker as global partnerships director, who started this month.
Vipan, who spent six years in Holiday Taxis’ purchasing team before joining Avis Budget Group, will be tasked with boosting Suntransfers.com’s product range.
He will report into managing director Nathan Timmins and also oversee supplier operations.

Vipan, who product lead at Avis Budget, said: “Andy and I are excited by the ambitious expansion plans and I look forward to bringing my 30 years of travel industry experience along with my specialized purchasing and operational knowledge from the global mobility market to Suntransfers.com in Barcelona”.
Timmins added: “We are delighted that Keith has joined us to lead our supplier strategy. Quality has always been at our core, but this appointment ensures we can grow our range of product and critically, the service levels to match the needs of our B2B clients, building on the success of our B2C offering over the last 11 years.”
Suntransfers.com was founded in 2008 and is based in Barcelona. It is one of the largest B2C airport transfer providers in Europe.
