Jumeirah to open hotel on The Palm

The Jumeirah Group’s latest offering opens its doors this month, joining the likes of the Burj Al Arab and Essex House in New York in the collection.

The five star Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, located on the west crescent of Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, is a 405 room hotel with what the group describes as an ‘imperial touch’.

Hand-painted frescoes, Turkish artworks and lavish murals are combined in an attempt to “conjure up the magnificence of the Ottoman Empire” according to the group.

At the heart of hotel lies the Talise Ottoman Spa, covering 8,000 square metres and boasting 42 individual spa rooms and suites, an indoor swimming pool and three authentic Turkish Hammams.

In addition, the hotel has the Mehteran Theatre and Event Centre, which will play host to live shows and events.

There are 38 villas situated on the beach and around a lagoon pool, 10 restaurants, bars, a night club, boutiques, lush gardens, tennis courts and fitness centre; and an extensive selection of sports and leisure activities.
