Bmi Baby adds Belfast City service

Bmibaby is adding an extra flight a week between East Midlands and Belfast City Airport.

The budget airline offer up to 18 flights a week from March 29 with the additional Tuesday frequency. This means the airline will operate three flights a day to Belfast on weekdays. Flights start at £19.99 one way including taxes.

Passengers will be able to change their flight free of charge on the day, should their meeting finish earlier or later than planned, providing they are at the airport, the airline announced.

Managing director Julian Carr said: “We want to offer our customers flexibility when they travel to Belfast with Bmibaby. We will fly from the region to the centre of Belfast up to 18 times a week.

“This additional service will mean that we will offer the most flights from East Midlands Airport to Belfast, and we remain committed to offering people of the region exceptionally low fares and a level of great service.”
