Paris-Orly airport has confirmed it will be closed until at least September.
The airport said all flights that have not been cancelled as a result of the restrictions imposed as a result of Covid-19 will be operated from the French capital’s largest airport, Charles de Gaulle.
Paris-Orly closed to commercial traffic on April 1 as the coronavirus pandemic spread through Europe.
The airport handled 31.9 million passengers in 2019, compared to 76.2 million passengers at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
A spokesman told Travel Weekly: “Orly airport is closed to September (and might be closed to fall) until further notice.”
