Gold Medal and Travel 2 offer 2022 holidays

Trade-only tour operators Gold Medal and Travel 2 have expanded their out of date range allowing agents to book holidays as far out as 2022.

The dnata Travel-owned brands said noted a trend of customers and agents looking to book holidays further afield.

Popular destinations for 2021 and 2022 bookings include Florida, Asia, the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Dubai & Arabia, which the operators can tailor-make with a selection of long haul scheduled airlines couple with its partner hotels and resorts.

Nick Hughes, sales director at Gold Medal and Travel 2, said: “Many holidaymakers are understandably looking to postpone their holidays until next year and beyond. It is key that agents are armed with as much flexibility as possible when it comes to moving the dates of their customer’s trips.

“In addition, many of us are wanting to plan and book holidays for when it is safe to travel. Having the flexibility to book dates that fall outside the traditional 11-month booking window for scheduled air travel is key in providing agents with the flexibility and choices they need right now.”

Packages on offer include 14 nights with Gold Medal including a stay at three-star Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando, return flights with British Airways, and free transportation to Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld from £999 per person, based on two adults and two children when departing on March 27, 2022.

Travel 2 offers three nights at five-star Atlantis The Palm, Dubai in a Palm Room, half board, with return Emirates flights, unlimited access to the Lost Chambers Aquarium and free access to Aquaventure Waterpark from £689 per person, based on two adults and two children when travelling between May 6 and May 20, 2021.

Agents can find the operators’ latest Covid-19 resources at The Hub on each brand’s website. It features policy statements, customer facing-statements and downloadable marketing tools.
