Brian Souter, executive chairman of Stagecoach Group, led the travel and transport sector by being knighted in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to transport and the voluntary sector.

National Air Travel Services operations director Ian Hall received an MBE for services to the airline industry together with Belfast International Airport duty manager Gerald Wilson for services to the aviation industry.
