Cyprus Airways has abolished commission for agents in the UK.
The airline wrote to Iata agents on July 27 to inform them that commission was to fall from 4% to 0% for bookings made from November 1.
The letter, from UK sales manager Spyros Neophytou, said: “You will certainly appreciate that the recent developments in the travel industry have obliged many worldwide airlines to reduce their commission.”
