G Adventures is extending its suspension of tours to include those departing up to and including September 30, as well as the October 21 departure of its G Expedition ship.
It said it has taken the “unfortunate but necessary decision” because of the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
However, there 21 departures which can operate in Europe during September because travel is possible between certain countries.
G Adventures said it is following the guidance from Abta for all UK travellers affected by the tour suspensions.
Travellers can rebook their tour for a future date or book a different tour instead.
Those who do not wish to rebook their trip on a later date will receive a fully-protected Refund Credit Note for 100% of the amount paid for all booked tour services as well as an additional 10% travel credit as a gesture of goodwill.
If the traveller requires a cash refund, this will be provided to them as soon as possible, and no later than 31 January 2021, with their money remaining financially protected via their Refund Credit Note in the interim.
Travellers who haven’t yet made their final payment will have their Lifetime Deposit kept on file to put towards a future tour.
If travellers still wish to travel in September and travel restrictions for their home country permits, they can consider joining one of the 21 tours running in Europe this September, developed in line with the UK government’s list of countries with reduced restrictions.
Travellers booked on tours departing up to December 31, 2020, have the option to transfer their booking to a future departure date for the same price. Alternatively, they can pay in full and receive a 110% travel credit for a future tour.
