Social enterprise travel agency Charitable Travel is working with TourHound to provide touring and adventure content on its website.
Charitable Travel joins a growing number of agents who are using the TourHound technology which aggregates touring and adventure content, inventory and itineraries from more than 70 suppliers.
Melissa Tilling, Charitable Travel chief executive, said: “Touring is a key offering for travel companies and the ability for our customers to search online through the incredible array on offer through the TourHound platform is revolutionary.
“Booking touring has now truly become another way that our customers can donate 5% of the trip cost to the charity of their choice at no extra cost when they book with Charitable Travel.”
TourHound chairman Laurence Hicks added: “We are delighted to be working with Charitable Travel, knowing that proceeds from our partner tours commission will benefit the wider community and serve some well-deserved causes.
“Whilst agents wait for the market to open up once again, they have the perfect opportunity to prepare themselves for demand in the touring and adventure sector, which many believe the cruising demographic will switch to for their holiday choice.
“Agents should use this down-time to assess the potential for this financially lucrative space and look at how they can embrace and capitalise on it in the future.”
