JG Travel Group customers support Covid-secure conditions

JG Travel Group research has found that 96% of holidaymakers on its recent tours said they would travel again under the same Covid-secure conditions.

The company, behind the Just Go! Holidays and National Holidays brands, took more than 500 customers on an exclusive tour of Highclere Castle, famous for featuring in Downton Abbey, last week.

New Covid safety measures were implemented on coaches, in hotels and at venues and attractions to adhere to government guidelines.

JG Travel Group carried out telephone research with 87 customers after the tour. It found that 96% of customers said they would travel again under the same conditions and would recommend the experience to their friends.

Customers were also asked how they felt before the tour, with 26.4% reporting that they felt nervous or wary and 44% optimistic or excited. When asked how they would feel doing another tour under similar conditions, 9.6% said they were nervous or wary, and 71.1% excited or optimistic.

Its feedback asking whether sufficient safety measures had been put in place on the coach, at the hotel and at Highclere Castle, 91%, 87% and 98% of customers, respectively, agreed.
