FORMER Magic Travel Group chief executive Jackie Kernaghan is to leave Granada at the end of the month to set up her own travel consultancy.
Kernaghan was responsible for the rebranding and subsequent sale of Magic to Thomson Travel, but after considering various alternative posts in Granada she has decided her interests lie elsewhere in the travel industry. In addition to consultancy, Kernaghan will shortly take on some non-executive directorships.
Kernaghan spent five years at Forte Hotels and helped reposition the company following its sale to Granada.
