Journey Latin America has launched a new ‘Covid-conscious’ holiday concept aimed at “pioneering spirits seeking an element of adventure”.
Trailblazer Holidays hopes to give travellers the opportunity to be the first to experience a country’s key attractions once restrictions are lifted.
Itineraries have been created at a slower pace, with the health of the traveller “at the heart of their planning” with hotels in secluded locations.
Where possible, Trailblazer itineraries will be private, ensuring ‘bubbles’ for guests.
Its first tour to go on sale is a 10-day self-drive Cuba holiday featuring Havana, Trinidad and Viñales, as well as lesser-known Jibacoa, Cienfuegos and tropical forest Las Terrazas. Prices start at £2,290 per person with direct flights, a Cuban Tourist Card, car hire, hotels on a B&B basis, three lunches, three dinners and excursions.
Stuart Whittington, head of product at Journey Latin America, said: “As the world begins to open up again, we have put together a selection of Covid-conscious itineraries specifically designed for travels in these times. Our Trailblazer Cuba holiday stays in carefully selected locations that avoid the crowds, allowing you to see the highlights whilst always staying within your comfort zone”.
Journey Latin America has introduced a Flexible Booking Policy that allows clients to postpone or make any changes, whatever the reason, up to 45 days before travel.
