Ski Amis has become the latest winter sports operator to fold.
The company, which had been trading for almost 30 years, ceased trading on Monday.
The firm specialised in chalet holidays in the French Alps.
A notice on the Ski Amis website confirming the closure said: “We have tried very hard throughout this period however unfortunately we are left with no other alternatives but to take this very difficult step and we are so very sorry to everybody affected.”
Consumers were referred to the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust (ABTOT).
“If you paid by card then you should contact your card issuer to raise a section 75 chargeback claim and if you paid by bank transfer then you should submit a claim to ABTOT,” Ski Amis said.
“We would like to thank all of our loyal clients who have chosen us to take their holidays with over the years, along with the staff who have worked hard to provide our clients with the very best holidays.”
ABTOT said: “We are sorry to confirm that Time of Your Life Travel trading under the name Ski Amis ceased trading on 30 November.
“All bookings will be cancelled.”
The failure comes after it emerged that French ski resorts are unlikely to open before January.
