Global Event Solutions managing director Ian Sanderson and five staff have left the corporate-event management specialist one year after its launch.
Strategy and operations director Malcolm Williamson said structural changes had been made to the Basingstoke-based company, which is a division of Hogg Robinson and was formed in August 1998.
Williamson, who is now heading Global Event Solutions, said all five are being offered alternative positions in the parent company. A spokeswoman for Hogg Robinson said their new roles have yet to be finalised.
“It is common for a new business start-up to assume it will work in one direction, but other opportunities come up that necessitate some minor tweaking,” said Williamson.
“It is now business as usual.”
