Former Seabourn boss Andrew Magowan has been named managing director of Seadream Yacht Club.
Magowan starts work tomorrow and will report to president Bob Lepisto.
Lepisto said: ‘’I am thrilled that Andrew will be leading the charge in the UK.
“He brings with him a proven track record and a wealth of experience within the luxury sector of the cruise industry.
“The UK is a key market for us and Andrew’s appointment confirms our commitment to grow business here.’’
With over 25 years’ experience in the travel industry, Andrew has spent most of his career within the luxury and niche cruise sector.
Joining Royal Viking Line in 1990, he then moved to Cunard in 1998 as sales director.
In 2004 he became sales & marketing director at Swan Hellenic and was instrumental in re-launching the brand to the UK market before moving to Seabourn in 2007 as Vice President – Europe, Middle East & Africa.
