Vietnam ‘adventure’ added by Distant Dreams

DISTANT Dreams has added Vietnam to its expanded programme for 2000 following strong sales for the Far East since the company’s launch last December.

The operator is offering a seven-night escorted tour of Vietnam taking in the highlights including Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Danang and Hanoi. It costs from £1,099, and extensions are available to Phuket or Bangkok.

Distant Dreams product manager Christina Hunter said: “As well as expanding in established destinations we wanted to offer our clients something new. Vietnam is still slightly adventurous and off-the-beaten track.”

Also new are five-night and seven-night cruises of the Far East, one from Bangkok on the Superstar Europe and the other from Singapore on Superstar Gemini.

An eight-night package combining Bangkok with a five-night cruise costs from £1,289, while a 10-night package of three nights in Singapore and a seven-night cruise starts at £1,229.

As part of its attempts to strengthen its trade relationship, the operator is also running a monthly competition for agents and it is offering a bottle of wine to those who have its brochure on display during spot checks.

Clients who book before November 30 are being guaranteed free admission to a VIP lounge at UK departure airports.
