TV company seeks agents and operators for Channel 4 series

The TV company behind shows featuring Gordon Ramsey, Mary Portas and Heston Blumenthal is looking for independent travel agents and tour operators to feature in a new business advice series on Channel 4.

Optomen Television hopes to run the new series in the autumn, with at least one episode focused on a travel agency or tour operator in need of some business advice.  It aims to help businesses improve their profits and expand their customer base and as part of the show, businesses will receive advice from one of the UK’s leading consumer-facing business experts.

“Ideally it would be someone who is struggling and needs extra help or wants to expand the business but can’t do it yet,” said producer Phil McCullough. “It’s all about increasing profits and increasing the customer base; it’s not a makeover show.”

The programme is keen to hear from small, independent businesses that are not part of a national travel chain as soon as possible. Anyone interested in taking part should email business@optomen.com. Companies will be required to fill in a short questionnaire.
