Operator adopts X-TANT’s Internet Protocol Network


CLUB Travel 2000 has become the first operator to adopt X-TANT’s new Internet Protocol Network, a dual system that allows agents to book holidays via viewdata or on-line.



The operator’s group Information Technology director Graham Currey claimed the move would benefit travel agencies that sell itsholidays.



“Agents will enjoy vastly improved access and booking speeds for our products and we’ll be able to offer them access to our extranet and intranet services,” he said.



Charter-based seat-only operator Freedom Flights, which has a close trading relationship and shares technology with Club Travel 2000, isalso adopting X-TANT’s Internet ProtocolNetwork.
