AmericanAirlinesintegrates the services of US carrier Reno Air into its network tomorrow. The move will mean moreconnections to western US cities for UK passengersflying with American to Los Angeles. Fears theintegration would upset pilots wanting better pay and conditions have been dampened by a statement from unions saying they will not take further action. Last February, American’s pilots caused some UK flights to be cancelled after many went sick in protest at American/Reno Airpayment levels (Travel Weekly February 10).
