EUROPCAR has formed an alliance with commercial vehicle rental company Northgate to hand over the management of its van rentals.
The car-hire company said the tie-up will enlarge their fleet and improve the range of van product available. As part of the agreement, Northgate will buy 900 of Europcar’s van fleet.
Europcar has also just put together a new product designed to meet the needs of small leasing companies called Leaserite, which provides a one-stop shop for a single-price product with no hidden extras.
Business develop management Avril Palmer said: “Our research in the market place identified a definite need for a product that would add flexibility to the small fleet.”
