UNIJET PUBLISHES WINTER FLIGHTS GUIDE
Charters to Orlando and Las Vegas are featured in Unijet’s new timetable-size flights programme for winter ’99. Las Vegas departures include Monday flights from Gatwick on Air 2000 and Tuesday services from Manchester on Airtours International. Return fares are from £299. Florida fares start at £249 on flights from five UK airports. In summer, Orlando rates lead in at £349.
BAH CUTS £190 FROM SEPTEMBER FLYDRIVES
British Airways Holidays is offering up to £190-off Florida flydrives in September. Seven-night deals now start at £299. It has made similar reductions on self-drive options in California, Seattle, Denver, Phoenix and Boston.
OUTRIGGER OFFERS DISCOUNT AGENT DEALS
Agents are being offered special rates to sample Hawaii’s Outrigger Hotels and Resorts. Prices per room between August and December range from $40 to $75 per night, with properties on Oahu, Kauai and Hawaii. In October, it is offering two free nights at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort.
PENINSULA CHICAGO BEGINS TO TAKE SHAPE
Construction has begun on The Peninsula Chicago hotel – an 18-storey tower being built at 730 North Michigan Avenue. Facilities include 336guestrooms and suites, a spa and health club. It is due to open in the first half of 2001.
