Specialist tour operators Taber Holidays and Specialised Tours have merged to create one of the largest dedicated programmes to Scandinavia out of the UK.
All programmes and bookings under the two Scandinavian specialists will now operate under the Taber Holidays brand.
The merger increases the number of packages sold by Taber Holidays to around 125 across Norway, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Greenland.
Taber Holidays will now feature Northern Lights’ photography tours for the first time.
Specialised Tours managing director and owner Margaret Scowen will work for Taber Holidays as a consultant handling all tailormade itineraries except Iceland and Greenland, which will be looked after by Taber’s tailormade specialist Terry Shaw. Scowen will work remotely from Crawley, Sussex.
Taber Holidays managing director Suzel Taber-Shaw said: “This winter has been our busiest ever and with such an increasing demand for tailormade holidays and Scandinavia in general, we can between us offer an unrivalled product knowledge gained from a combined 70 years’ experience.”
She added that having two tailormade specialists in the company would free up time to explore new products for clients.
