Online travel add-ons and transfers company Travelugo has named Ken Smith as chairman.
Smith brings 25 years travel industry experience to the company, including roles as managing director of First Choice Airways predecessor Air 2000 and a main board director of First Choice.
He also served as interim chief operating officer for easyJet and is a former president of the International Air Carriers Association.
Smith has held a number of non-executive director roles in aviation, the arts and the NHS including Astraeus Airlines, Avtura, Lighthouse Digital Arts and East Sussex Healthcare Trust.
His aviation and travel industry consultancy includes major travel companies in Jordan, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Kenya.
