Club Travel 2000 new service to save agents booking time


CLUB Travel 2000 has introduced a service that allows agents to download its entire flight-only programme on to their own computer systems in approximately 2mins.



The operator’s data-transfer system will save time for agents who use PCs or who sell over Teletext and the Internet as it is quicker to retrieve information. It removes the need for live viewdata scanning and telephone enquiries. Data is updated every 2hrs, so agents know they have the latest prices and itineraries on their screen.



Ten agents have subscribed to the service so far, including Air Flights Direct, Direct Connections, Runway Travel and Diamond Holidays.



Club Travel 2000’s group information technology director Graham Currey, who oversaw the service launch, said: “It is a great tool for agents because it provides them with current data covering our full 12-month programme.
