Lastminute.com UK and Ireland has revealed that managing director Mark Maddock is to leave the company.
In a statement the OTA said he would not be replaced but that chief executive Matthew Crummack would oversee the business.
A spokeswoman said: “Mark Maddock, who has led our UK and Ireland business, has decided now is the time to leave lastminute.com.
“We want to thank Mark for his contribution over the past years; and whilst it’s disappointing to lose a valued leader of the business, we will not be replacing Mark’s role – lastminute.com chief executive Matthew Crummack is overseeing the overall business.”
Maddock has been managing director since July 2010, having also been director of European partner marketing for hotels and product director for hotels at the company.
Maddock was previously general manager for Holiday Hotels at the Holiday Autos Group.
Lastminute.com celebrated its 15th birthday in October last year.
