The Sunday Telegraph’s political columnist Matthew d’Ancona is to be confirmed by Abta as one of the final speakers for this year’s Travel Convention.
The association is due to announce the full programme for the event today (Tuesday).
D’Ancona will look ahead to next May’s general election in a session entitled ‘Battleground 2015’ and tell delegates what politicians are really planning as the country prepares to go to the polls.
He will speak at the convention in Ljubljana this month just days after the Scottish independence referendum that will settle the future of the UK.
D’Ancona is a former deputy editor of the Sunday Telegraph and editor of political magazine The Spectator.
