A British tourist on honeymoon has died in a jet ski accident off the coast of Santorini in Greece.
The man, 39, was involved in a collision with another jet ski off the island on Wednesday, and died from internal bleeding after complaining of feeling unwell, Greek authorities said.
Another Briton, a 29-year-old man who was part of the wedding party, was arrested on suspicion of negligent homicide in connection with the accident, which happened near Kamari beach, The Telegraph reported.
Police said the dead man, from London, was married on the island to his British bride two days before he died.
A large party of Britons had travelled over for the wedding, according to Antonis Danikas, a spokesman for Santorini Tourist Police.
The crash happened at around 6pm on Wednesday when another British jet-skier is thought to have rammed into the man.
It is understood that the newlywed began to feel unwell and attended hospital on Santorini, where doctors decided he should be flown to Crete for more treatment. But he died of internal bleeding while on the aircraft.
