Lufthansa faces a fresh round of disruption with pilots planning to walk out tomorrow (Tuesday).
The German carrier’s long haul flights from its main hub at Frankfurt are being targeted.
The pilots union Vereinigung Cockpit plans strike action from 8am to 11pm local time.
“Lufthansa long-haul flight operations departing from Frankfurt will be affected by the strike,” the airline said.
“All Lufthansa flights to and from the Munich hub as well as short-haul flights from and to Frankfurt will operate as scheduled.
“Lufthansa regrets any inconvenience to Lufthansa passengers caused by the strike actions by the pilots union Vereinigung Cockpit and will do its utmost to minimise impacts on passengers.”
The latest action follows an eight-hour strike by Munich-based pilots on September 10 – the third in two weeks in a dispute over pay and retirement ages.
