SHEFFIELDCity Airport has signed a ground-handling deal to meet the growing demands of British Regional Airlines.
The new contract with Servisair will initially cover the British Airways franchise airline’s latest flights to Belfast and Dublin.
However, the agreement is expected to be extended when British Regional launches thrice-daily London City flights in the autumn. The carrier also expects to start Glasgow, Edinburgh and Paris services this winter.
Servisair will handle check-in, ticketing and passenger enquiries on behalf of British Regional.
The firm already provides services for the ex-Sheffield charter flights of BAwholly owned subsidiary Brymon Airways and for KLMUK.
