NOVOTEL is to strengthen its status in the short-break market with a new brochured programme to be launched in August.
There are three types of break in the brochure. The first is the Novotel weekend break which leads in at £105 for two adults, including breakfast.
The second is the Novotel family break starting at £105 for a family room which includes two adults and two children under 16 and breakfast. The third option is the dinner, bed-and-breakfast deal which costs from £165 for two adults and two children under 16.
All three options are for two nights and can only be taken at the weekend.
Roger Smith, sales and marketing director for Accor, which owns the Novotel brand, said: “Strategically we need to be in the short-break market. Outside London, the majority of Novotel clients are domestic and this product is ideal for them.”
The new brochure represents a permanent move into short breaks for the brand.
Novotel is also running a separate summer fun offer of two nights, including a day out to a local attraction, until September 5 but this is not brochured to the trade. The offer, including bed and breakfast, leads in at £40.
