Sandals is prepared for the opening of its latest property in Barbados following a $65 million renovation project.
The 280-room Sandals Barbados on Dover Beach is due to open on January 28 set within three distinct villages.
Accommodation ranges from beachfront butler suites to new swim-up river suites situated in a tropical garden.
The all-inclusive resort company is introducing its first Indian restaurant as part of 11 dining options.
The resort includes three swimming pools – an oceanfront main pool with swim-up bar and whirlpool, the longest crystal lagoon river pool in the eastern Caribbean, stretching 560ft with access to swim-up suites and nearby whirlpool and a pool featuring French Riviera-style cabanas with chandeliers, sofas and outlets to power personal devices.
Other facilities include a spa, fitness centre and bars.
Sandals Resorts International founder and chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart said the resort “will set the new bar in the all-inclusive holiday experience”.
