SWALLOW Group plans to expand its hotels after selling off 659 tenanted pubs for £127m.
The disposal follows a decision by the company to focus on hotels and inns and to withdraw from non-core business. It has 37 hotels in the UK.
Swallow Group chief executive Peter Catesby said: “We really want to speed up the hotel development programme and the company is in an acquisitive mood.”
