Sunset founders step down from posts at Club Travel 2000

SUNSET founders Phil Pattison and David Unwin have stepped down from their roles at Club Travel 2000 after setting up an in-bound seat-only business for the operator (Travel Weekly March 1).

Pattison and Unwin have been working on the project for more than a year in Tenerife and it was unclear whether they would be found permanent positions with Club Travel 2000 upon its completion. But sales and marketing director Ian Scott said they would not be joining full time.

“Phil Pattison and David Unwin were brought in to set up the seat-only operation and that is exactly what they have done,” he said.

Flightcentre, which will operate from Playa de las Americas and Puerto de la Cruz, will be aimed at the expatriates and Spanish businessman.
