NEW Caribbean resort Carenage Beach and Golf Club has appointed Elaine Vaughan as its UK sales and marketing representative.
Vaughan was previously UK sales and marketing director of Sandals before leaving in 1998 to set up her own sales and marketing company.
The private 800-acre resort on the island of Canouan in St Vincent and the Grenadines has 178 rooms and suites, and is surrounded by one of the largest coral reefs in the Caribbean. The resort also has an 18-hole par 72 course. Canouan is just three miles square -Êa few miles north of Mustique and the Tobago Cays Nature Reserve.
