I read Simon Israel’s Letter of the Week with dismay (Travel Weekly June 14)
I could not believe that Gary David’s Cadogan Holidays would attract direct business and cut out travel agents. So I decided to look a little further and I called ABTA.
They confirmed to me that Island Sun Direct, the company Simon referred to, is, in fact a trading name of Cadogan Holidays. I was shocked! Come on Gary, is this the way to look afterindependent travel agents?
