Reds on the road: terms and conditions

1. The Promoter of this prize draw is Virgin Atlantic of The VHQ, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9DF, England.
2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
3. The prize draw is free to enter. All claims submitted into the Sky High Club platform will be automatically entered into the prize draw each month between August 2024 to December 2024, unless specified by the user by emailing ‘opt out’ to support@virginatlanticskyhighclub.com. These terms will refer to a claim as entries to the draw.
4. All entries must be submitted via www.virginatlanticskyhighclub.com within the two week claim window.
5. The opening date for entries is 00:01 on 22 July 2024 and the closing date is 00:01 on 30 December 2024. Entries received after this time will not be considered for this draw. All claims will continue to be validated and points accrued in line with the Sky High Club reward mechanic.
6. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when submitting online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete entries and any incomplete entries will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw.
7. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process based on the entered claims at the end of each month between August 2024 to December 2024. One winner will be selected each month. Winners can be chosen multiple times throughout the incentive period. The winner will not be dependent on performance, all submitted claims are applicable.
8. The winner will be given a choice to either receive cash which will be paid via their company payroll or points into their Sky High Club account for redemption on the platform in the form of vouchers. Four winners will receive a prize of £1000 or 1000 points. One winner will receive £5000 or 5000 points.
9. The winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) within 14 days of the month end. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
10. If the prize winner opts for points, this will be added to their account within 30 days of being notified of their win. Cash prizes will be dependant on payroll processes and could take up to 90 days or longer.
11. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
12. The prize winner is responsible for any ongoing tax implications as a result of accepting a cash prize, including any changes in tax code/loss of benefits.
13. Points are awarded and redeemed by Motivates of (the “Supplier”). The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
14. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
15. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails support@virginatlanticskyhighclub.com or writes to The VHQ, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9DF, England (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter [Melanie Gittins/ melanie.gittins@fly.virgin.com]. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
16. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
18. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
19. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s [www.virginatlantic.com/us/en/policies/privacy-policy.html]. See also condition 15 with regard to the announcement of winners.
20. Winners agree to participate in marketing activity as well as permission to use their name, agency in marketing collateral associated with the prize draw. If the winner chooses to opt out – they must email ‘opt out’ to support@virginatlanticskyhighclub.com.
21. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
