FOUR-STAR hotel chain Sofitel is to open a second property in China next month and a third by the end of the year.
The group already operates the 389-room Sofitel Hyland in Shanghai and is preparing to open the Sofitel Zhengzhou, in the city of Henan.
The 241-room hotel is a joint venture between a subsidiary of AAPC Hong Kong and the Henan International Hotel Company.
Its third property, the Sofitel Jinan Silver Plaza, will be in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province.
