The Personal Travel Agents, part of Your Co-op Travel, took 24 top-performing agents on a luxury trip to Jamaica recently to recognise their selling success.
The five-star Secrets St James resort in Montego Bay hosted the top-selling agents and sponsor-invited participants as part of the homeworking group’s annual trip.
The itinerary combined leisure with presentations from sponsors, island tours and visits to several resorts within Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection (HIC), such as Wild Orchid, Breathless and Zoetry.
Highlights included a visit to Rick’s Café, Negril, famed for its sunsets and cliff-diving opportunities.
The trip was organised and hosted by Tasha Smith, business development manager at Hyatt Inclusive Collection, and supported by headline sponsor Hannah Eldridge, trade partnerships manager from Gold Medal, as well as representatives from Co-op Holidays, Celebrity Cruises, Tui, Cunard, DoSomethingDifferent and ITC.
Smith said: “The itinerary exceeded expectations, and it was a privilege to build stronger relationships with the agents and see them experience the beauty of our five-star Caribbean resorts.”
Sheena Whittle, head of The Personal Travel Agents, commented: “This trip is one of the highlights of our year. It gives us the opportunity to say thank you and connect with our talented and driven Personal Travel Agents who have gone above and beyond in the past 12 months.
“The energy and excitement were palpable throughout the duration of the trip and what better way to reward our top performers than taking them to soak up sunshine, beaches and the richness of Jamaican culture.”
First-time attendee and Personal Travel Agent Sally O’Hara added: “The trip was planned perfectly, allowing me to immerse myself in the vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes of Jamaica while also connecting with my fellow agents.
“I gained a deep insight into everything the island has to offer, from its rich history to its stunning beaches and delicious cuisine. This experience has truly inspired me to share Jamaica’s beauty with my clients.”
