Family-run agency CVT Holiday Inspirations has joined the Advantage Travel Partnership as the owner hands the business on to his son.
Established since 1990 as Church Village Travel, the business is rebranding to CVT Holiday Inspirations as owner David Perry retires, with his son, Mike Perry set to take over.
The agency – one of Abta’s longest registered businesses – has joined the consortium under its Advantage Management Services (AMS) model.
It specialises in tailored travel such as fly-drives in North America, sports tours and Corporate Travel as well as package, long-haul and cruise holidays.
Four full-time staff work in the agency alongside a homeworker division of eight staff, all based in south Wales.

Advantage Travel Partnership hails success of AMS conference
Mike Perry, who will soon be leading the business, has worked for CVT Holiday Inspirations for more than five years.
He said: “Joining the Advantage Travel Partnership comes at a pivotal point for CVT Holiday Inspirations as we rebrand our business.
“Utilising the AMS model, we will be able to benefit from the supplier payments administered by Advantage which will allow us to reduce the time spent on bookkeeping and to focus on what we do best, which is selling our products and providing a greater service to our customers.
“We will also be looking to use the Advantage marketing campaigns and access to a wider portfolio of suppliers.
“Looking ahead, we want to continue servicing our clients’ travel arrangements whilst expanding our sports tour offering to incorporate more of the world’s top sporting events.”
Kelly Cookes, chief commercial officer at the Advantage Travel Partnership, added: “Over the past 35 years, David, Mike and the team have built an incredible business with a loyal customer base who know they will continue to receive excellent service every time they book.
“We’re looking forward to working with them as they rebrand and continue to prosper.
“We have seen more than 50 new branches across our membership over the past year, gaining more than £500 million in new member turnover.
“We are continuing to see great success with our AMS model which allows members to concentrate on selling rather than operational admin.”
Previously the agency was a member of The Travel Network Group.
