Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has opened a 171-room property in Majorca.
The four-star Iberostar Cala Millor (pictured), on the island’s east coast, opened in May and brings the Spanish brand’s number of hotels on the island to 14.
The new property is owned by tennis star Rafael Nadal and is located in the popular tourist area of Sant Llorenc des Cardassar.
The seafront hotel falls into Iberostar’s Premium range of four and five-star properties and is a short distance from the protected natural area of Punta de n’Amer.
Rooms feature terraces or balconies, air conditioning, telephone and satellite TV.
Facilities include a fitness room, a spa offering facials and massage, and a miniclub for children. Watersports and a golf course are available nearby.
The hotel is Iberostar’s second to open in Spain this year, following the launch of the 103-room, four star Iberostar Las Letras Gran Via in Madrid in January.
Three nights in late June at Iberostar Cala Millor starts at €480 for two people sharing.
