SWISS Travel Service has introduced special programmes for non-skiers in its 1999/2000 ski brochure.
The operator will organise lunches, spa treatments, ice skating, sledging, tobaggoning and mountain walking for people who do not want to take part in skiing. Information on non-skiing events will be given to clients at a weekly meeting at the destination.
Swiss Travel Service director and general manager Tony Shultz said:”Some of our clients have asked for non-skiing programmes, so we have introduced it.
“The brochure highlights a number of resorts which we recommend for non-skiers.”
A range of gala dinners have been planned for clients who book a holiday over the millennium period. Prices for the millennium start at £683 for 10 nights at the Bellvue Hotel in Wengen. The brochure’s lead-in price is £469 for seven nights at the Bellvue.
Prices for children start at £99 at certain times of the season. The price is based on sharing a room with two adults.
