Unforgettable Travel Company has appointed Andy Furlong to the newly created role of commercial director, reporting to co-founder Graham Carter.
The company said he will implement long-term commercial strategies and grow the company’s digital performance across all brands, including Unforgettable Croatia and Unforgettable Greece.
Furlong has 30 years of experience in the travel sector, with extensive digital expertise, added the statement from the company.
He has previously held senior roles at Travelbag, Mark Warner, Neilson, Europcar and the Island Cruises joint venture between Royal Caribbean and First Choice.
Carter said: “Andy’s appointment marks an important milestone in our growth strategy.
“He brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, which will ensure we are ideally placed to develop and implement commercial goals and increase our focus on digital operations.
