CHRIS Browne, the former managing director of Carlson Worldchoice, will head a new direct business for Travel Choice, the in-house retailer of First Choice.
Travel Choice Direct is expected to be operational by the end of November and will be managed from a call centre, probably in Scotland.
Browne will report to group managing director Peter Long and also provide support for the high-street shops.
